It is truly more simple than you actually think.
All you need is:
Coffee
A Quart Jar with lid
Water
A way to filter your grounds
No joke. You don't need a fancy carafe or to surrender your french press for a day.
Directions:
Add 2/3 cup of grounds to your mason jar.
Fill the jar completely with water.
Place lid on the jar and close tight
Shake the jar to make sure all the grounds are wet
Let the jar sit for 12-24 hours.
Strain the mixture through a coffee filter to remove grounds.
Enjoy!
Truly. It is THAT SIMPLE! I know others do 2 parts water to 1 part coffee grounds, but it truly is all about preference.
A note about your ground grind: While it is BEST to use a french press grind or course ground grounds, you CAN get away with using the auto-drip grind. I'm sure the coffee gods may strike me down for saying that, but I'm all about making life easy for you.

Looking for coffee to try this out with? My favorite suggestions to make cold brew are the Sea Salt Caramel Mocha and honestly any of the limited release banana flavors when they become available. Sounds crazy, but it just works!
