Tastefully Simple: Latest Kitnapping

After hosting a party for Tastefully Simple back in July, I had many of you asking me to sign up so you could continue to stock your spice cabinet with fun and clean seasonings.

Well. I did it. You guys are bullies!

Seriously though, I wouldn't sign up for something I won't personally be using or love myself. I love their beer bread, their seasonings, and their drink mixes! I am taking this as an opportunity to try new things and expand. Food is love in my world so this is a great addition.

Here are some things to know about Tastefully Simple that makes me love them:

  • Made here in the USA- in Minnesota actually!

  • Their EatWell products (which are 85% of their product line) are clean-label products meaning they contain no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives

  • Their focus is easy to prepare, GOOD FOOD!

I am down for all of this! What you see in this photo is actually what I earned with my party in June! YUM!

I was eating the strawberry shortcake cheese ball by the spoon- it is SO GOOD! I wasn't a huge fan of the Pineapple Cake mix, but you know who was? BEN. My little man who doesn't stray from his core food groups of chicken nuggets, veggie chips, gold fish, apples and blueberries. He HATES cake. But he loved this and informed me that he will eat the whole pan. I didn't let, him but he was the only one to make progress on the pan and it made me so happy to see him eating something new.

Let's talk about the Taco seasoning. After a horrible bout of stomach flu in middle school and increasing seasoning allergies that gave me migraines, I wasn't able to have any sort of premade taco seasoning as they made me violently ill for the next 48 hours. On my birthday last week, I made slower cooker taco chicken. It sounded good, my mom loves taco chicken, and I figured it was worth a shot.

It. Was. AMAZING. My mother who is very particular about her foods and seasonings said it was really good and left it at a 'so when are you making it again?'

Let's get on to talking about my kitnapping shall we?

Here was my first thought when signing up: I wish there were different kits to choose from. Their kit included the 10 meal cutting carbs kit and that is not something I personally will follow. I will still obviously cook with all of these things, but I would have much preferred the slow cooker kit or the 30 minutes or less kit as those are things that fit into my life better.

Not the end of the world, but maybe some feedback to TS Corporate.

The kit came with a book of personal success stories from those in the company, a packet of good to know business basics and the fast start program, two hostess tasting kits, some items for display, and some sample cups and spoons and such. For someone looking to seriously launch and go hardcore, they have the tools they need to be able to do so.

Overall, pretty impressed. I have a launch party happening now that all the fun Fall items have released- pumpkin bread, frozen apple cider slush, salted caramel churro almonds, and so much more!
